Seeing as the current car I am driving is a teeny hatchback from 2002 with a three star safety rating, we decided to get a new car with a higher safety rating and with enough room in the boot for a pram. Hubby spent many many hours researching cars and calling sellers and we spent a few days visiting dealerships and test driving. I am very grateful to him as I have zero patience for the car buying process.
We had, with the help of research and some very excellent and knowledgeable friends, narrowed down the list of potential cars to:
1. Nissan Dualis
2. Hyundai ix35
3. Honda CRV
4. Mazda CX5
5. Kia Sportage
There are pros and cons to each of these cars but we ended up with a 2012 model Mazda CX5 from a private seller for a GREAT price. GO HUBBY!
We pick him up tomorrow and I am very excited to be driving a fancy new car and to install the baby seat into him!
